Our member firm MHA MacIntyre Hudson are hosting a seminar on property tax planning opportunities, jointly with Sharmans solicitors, focusing on the Capital Allowances available on commercial properties, and the potential for large tax savings. These can be achieved by careful contract preparation and claiming things properly and with some prior planning of what and when to invest.
The presentation by experienced practitioners Simon Girling & Simon Parrott will cover:
- The way Capital Allowances should be treated in property contracts and what you should look to achieve when negotiating property deals.
- The Annual Investment Allowance – use it or lose it (every year).
- Spending on and within buildings – integral features – what and where are they?
- Retrospective pooling – go back and do it properly!
It will be an interactive session, aimed at landlords of commercial properties, their agents and tax advisers. We hope you can make it. There is a lot to be gained!
