About the seminar
The long awaited Charities SORPs were issued in July 2014 after many months of consultation, debate and anticipation. There are two SORPs – one for charities following FRS102 and the other for charities adopting the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities – FRSSE.
At this seminar (which is a repeat of the seminar held on 4th September 2014) we will look at the practical implications of adopting the revised SORPs, highlight areas which need review and preparation at an early stage, and discuss where the areas of challenge might lie. For “smaller” charities (i.e. those under £6.5 million income which are eligible to follow the FRSSE) we will look at the factors which you need to consider when deciding which SORP to adopt.
There will be time for questions and we also encourage you to join us for drinks and canapés at the end of the seminar.
Here is some of the feedback we received about the seminar:
“Style of Q&A between presenters and audience achieved maximum audience participation and an excellent format to deal with such a technical subject.”
“Excellent! Well planned and delivered.”
“Innovative presentation style – it worked very well.”
