Chaired by Chris Blundell, MHA MacIntyre Hudson Partner and Simon Halberstam, Hill Hofstetter Partner & Head of Technology Law Services, the breakfast seminar topics will be:

Brian Cookson, President and Managing Director of RDP Associates – Brian Cookson, Managing Director, has specialized in assisting companies obtain government grants along with R&D and innovation tax credits for over 25 years in Canada, UK and the USA. As Managing Director of RDP Associates, Brian has worked with small to large companies, including many of the top FTSE 100 companies, in all types of industries. He has lectured and written extensively on R&D tax relief, government grants and participates in government/practitioner meetings.
Raoul Lumb, Technology Solicitor, Hill Hofstetter – Raoul is an Associate in the Hill Hofstetter Technology Team and assists clients with a wide range of commercial contract issues, as well as advising on intellectual property and regulatory matters. He acts for clients drawn from all across the Technology sector, including software developers, online entrepreneurs and hardware manufacturers. Raoul has a particular interest in assisting clients seeking to establish compliant online gaming/gambling ventures, and advising clients exploring the viability of launching novel ‘crowdfunding’ type platforms.
Chris Blundell, Partner MHA MacIntyre Hudson – Chris has almost 30 years experience in the field of tax advice. He advises his clients on all manner of UK and overseas taxes that affect them and their employees through their employment of staff, both senior and junior. Issues like share incentives, the operation of PAYE, the application of National Insurance, the Construction Industry Scheme and company car fleet taxation are familiar territory for him.
Simon Halberstam, Technology Law Partner, Hill Hofstetter – Simon’s work is focused on the drafting and negotiation of contracts for those providing or procuring technology or digital services. He advises on all aspects of Intellectual Property, as well as providing guidance to companies wishing to set up online gambling operations.
