MHA MacIntyre Hudson Advises on the Sale of BLC Leather

Our member firm which covers the South East, London and Midlands regions, MHA MacIntyre Hudson has advised the shareholders of BLC Leather Technology Centre on the sale of the company to the Consumer Products Testing division of Eurofins Scientific.
Established for over 95 years, BLC is a leading leather and chemical testing, consulting, auditing and technology centre. As the only laboratory exclusively dedicated to leather, footwear, chemical and leather product testing, BLC has the technical pedigree to ensure fast and accurate solutions to technical, management or environmental leather problems.
Eurofins Scientific is an international group of laboratories headquartered in Luxemburg, providing testing and support services to the pharmaceutical, food, environmental, agroscience and consumer products industries. It is a leading provider of analytical services with an international network of more than 400 laboratories across 44 countries.
MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s advice was successfully led by Managing Director Laurence Whitehead and Director Craig Chamberlain. Legal
advice was provided by Freeths, led by partner Gary Smith.
