MHA member firms have enjoyed success in the results of Charity Finance’s annual survey. The 22nd edition of this national survey was published this week and of the 9 MHA member firms 5 are mentioned and 4 have received special mentions. The aggregated results of the MHA member firms puts the group in the top 10 providers of accountancy and advisory services to charities in the UK.
Wales based Broomfield & Alexander came top in Charity Expertise (10 – 30 responses) and also came 2nd in Overall Service (10 – 30 responses). MHA’s member firm in the North East, Tait Walker, came 3rd and 4th in the same categories. Larking Gowen, who have 9 offices across East Anglia came 4th in the Charity Expertise (10 – 30 responses) category and Monahans, the South West member firm of MHA were awarded 5th place for Overall Service (10 – 30 responses).
Charities will face a difficult year as they deal with issues around the adoption of the new SORPs and should seek advice about the options that are available to them.
