US Expansion of Sales Tax for Global Businesses and US Subsidiaries

Following a much watched court case in the US earlier this year, known as Wayfair, a significant expansion of sales tax responsibilities could fall on businesses selling in the US. The changes mean that businesses can no longer limit their tax compliance responsibilities to the states where they have offices, employees or other physical presence.
